http://revues-msh.uca.fr/sociopoetiques/index.php?id=2182 Cette étude propose une analyse sociopoétique de la transcription fictionnelle du motif du complot de Judas dans L’Évangile du nouveau monde (2021) de Maryse Condé : elle vise à décrire et interroger les reconfigurations romanesques du mythe complotiste originel dans une œuvre récente de la littérature francophone caribéenne en mesurant les constantes et les variantes qui sous-tendent le palimpseste de la péricope. À cette fin, une mise en regard de la diégèse romanesque avec les strates chronologiques néotestamentaires permet d’exposer les linéaments bibliques qui parcourent le récit complotiste ainsi que d’éclairer les formes, modalités et enjeux des jeux intertextuels auxquels se livre une écrivaine réputée pour ses engagements citoyens. This sociopoetical study analyzes the fictional transcription of the Judas conspiracy motive in Maryse Condé’s L’Évangile du nouveau monde (2021). It aims to describe and question the novelistic reconfigurations of the original conspiracy myth in a recent Francophone Caribbean work, by measuring the constants and variants underlying the palimpsest of the pericope. To this end, a comparison of the novel’s diegesis with the chronological strata of the New Testament reveals the biblical lineaments that run through the conspiracy narrative, and sheds light on the forms, modalities and issues of the intertextual games played by an author renowned for her civic commitment.
